The Trainers Learning Skillnet (TLS) is a network for training providers – in particular, those in micro training organisations and the training departments of larger companies.

It offers grant-aided T&D opportunities that your organisation might not be able to undertake on your own. Its purpose is to:

  • Provide a forum where organisations can collaborate, network and promote best practice in trainer competencies and skills
  • Provide training professionals with CPD opportunities (accredited on the National Framework of Qualifications), so they are continuously equipped with the knowledge and skills they need
The network will thus help you, as a training practitioner, to:

  • Optimise return on investment from T&D spending
  • Maximise both individual and business development in your organisation
  • Align business goals with annual plans and personal development
  • Support career planning and promotion procedures
  • Improve recruitment and retention of staff
  • Allow you to benchmark against industry best practice

The TLS is funded by member companies and the Training Networks Programme, an initiative of Skillnets Ltd, funded by the National Training Fund through the Department of Education & Skills.
