Professional Practice Certificate in Training & Development (Level 6 Special Purpose Award)

Are you new to L&D or do you need to gain a recognised trainers' qualification?

 

The overall aim of the PPC is to enable participants to develop the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to undertake training activities. The programme encompasses the development of competences that will enable students to identify and assess training needs, and to develop, plan, organise, deliver and evaluate relevant training activities.

 

The IITD PPC programme consists of two modules. The modules can be taken independently and upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate. To receive the full QQI Level 6 Award, both modules need to be successfully completed.

 


The IITD Professional Practice Certificate in Training & Development programme offers participants the opportunity to achieve recognised certification as an effective trainer. Awards include:

  1. IITD Professional Practice Certificate in Training & Development
  2. QQI Level 6 Training and Development Special Purpose Award – 6S3372

 

 

Module 1 - Certificate in Training Needs Analysis & Training Design

The IITD Certificate in Training Need Analysis & Design programme is specifically designed to enable participants to develop the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to identify and analyse training needs, and to plan, design and develop relevant training interventions.

The programme offers participants the opportunity to achieve recognised certification as an effective trainer: awards include:

  1. IITD Certificate in Training Needs Analysis & Design
  2. QQI/FETAC Level 6 Component Award – Training Needs Identification & Training Design – 6N3325

 

Module 2 - Trainer Skills Certificate

The IITD Trainer Skills Certificate programme is specifically designed to enable participants to develop the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver and evaluate training activities pertinent to those responsible for the training of others in organisations.

The programme offers participants the opportunity to achieve recognised certification as an effective trainer. Awards include:

  1. IITD Trainer Skills Certificate
  2. QQI/FETAC Level 6 Component Award – Training Delivery & Evaluation – 6N3326

The next full PPC courses begin:
Dublin (Croke Park Stadium) - Nov 15th (for four consecutive Fridays, break for one week, then four consecutive Fridays)

 

Module 1 of the PPC is the IITD Certificate in Training Needs Analysis & Design (can be taken independently). The upcoming dates and venues are:

Sligo (CMD Training Institute) - November 6th (for four consecutive Wednesdays)

Dublin (Croke Park) - November 12th (for four consecutive Tuesdays)

Galway (Connacht Hotel) - November 22nd (for four consecutive Fridays)

2 Day Training Instructor Programme

The IITD Training Instructor Programme is aimed specifically at those with ‘front-line’ responsibility for training others in organisations. Learning the basic fundamental training skills is the first step in building a successful career as an instructor. The course focuses on helping you develop those basic skills and knowledge expected of an instructor. 

The programme offers participants the opportunity to achieve recognised certification as an effective trainer including the IITD Training Instructor Certificate.

 

 

1 Day Training Administrator Programme
The IITD Training Administrator programme is designed for those who want a greater insight into the role, responsibilities and core competencies of administering a training and learning department. During the course you will have an opportunity to assess what you are currently doing and consider other approaches that can be applied in your department to improve current practices.

The programme offers participants the opportunity to achieve recognised certification as an effective training Administrator including the IITD Training Administrator Certificate
